Our normal. We take certain things for granted in our society and psyche, there are strict rules and facts to regulate what we are. We fear what lies outside of that, the dark corners of humanity that tethers on the edge of what we know. All it really takes is one encounter with it to change the course of our lives forever.  And with enough time, who knows, what we fear may just become our new nature.
